Hollywood Producer Aaron Russo Test Screens New Feature Film In Tampa Saturday February 18th

The producer of "Trading Places" and "The Rose" to screen "America. . .From Freedom To Fascism"

Screening is FREE and open to the public

Tampa Bay, Florida -- On Saturday, February 18 at 1 PM, accomplished Hollywood producer Aaron Russo will test screen his new feature film, "America. . .From Freedom To Fascism" at the CHANNELSIDE CINEMAS.

Russo's films, which include "Trading Places" (starring Eddie Murphy and Dan Aykroyd) and "The Rose" (starring Bette Midler), have received six academy award nominations. Russo has personally won both an Emmy and a Tony award and his films have also won numerous Golden Globe awards.

This new film is a highly anticipated political documentary about freedoms in America. Mr. Russo stated that he is, "More proud of this movie than any other work (he) has ever done."

Russo, as writer, director and producer, is entering "America" in the upcoming May 2006 Cannes Film Festival.

The approximately 100-minute advance screening is FREE and open to the public. Mr. Russo will personally introduce the film and be available to answer questions following the showing.

UPDATE: WTP previously stated that Aaron Russo would be present and presenting his latest film, "America from Freedom to Fascism." Unfortunately due to a prior commitment he will be unable to attend. However the show must go on. The screening will take place and according to WTP, Mr. Russo will be available for telephone interviews.
